Maria del Carmen Flores
de Foley was born and raised in Monterrey, Mexico. She attended the
ITESM University in Monterrey, where she earned her Bachelor of Science
degree in Biochemical Engineering. Later, she studied and practiced
the art of "Repujado" with Ana Isabel Solorzano in Monterrey. Over
the last 12 years, she has developed and perfected her own techniques and designs and
has become known internationally, working in Mexico, the United States,
and Italy. MariCarmen's work has been featured in art galleries in Italy and several major cities in the U.S. While living
and traveling in Europe, she discovered the intricate and beautiful designs
which could be created using Celtic Art as a basis, and includes this influence in many of her pieces. She is now living
and working near Milwaukee, Wisconsin. |
